What an enjoyable read. Janet shares many of her life's ups and downs with humor and wisdom that any reader can benefit from. It's relatable, encouraging, uplifting, and hopeful. As a busy mom, I also appreciated the short chapters mixed with her popular newspaper columns. It seamlessly allowed me small bites in between running kids to activities. If life has ever dealt you a difficult to hand to play, this book is for you.

I just got my copy of this heartwarming memoir today and couldn’t put it down. Janet’s candid wit and gentle wisdom— “glitter and confetti”—and her ability to mix up lemonade from life’s lemons are an upbeat treat. Janet knows how to find joy in the bleakest of days and reading about how she does it moistens my smiling eyes.

I usually find it difficult to sit still and read a book for very long. To my surprise I had not put it down till I got to chapter 21. I lost track of time. Thru all the ups and downs of her life you see God's faithfulness to hear and answer her prayers. Truly an inspiration and encouragement to each of us. I love a happy ending but not the end. Cannot wait for her next book.
